"Michael's Dorado"
My 10-year old son, Michael, and I were invited by my friend Jorge to go fishing in La Paz with him and his 10-year old son, Joshua. We fished with Chris Jones from Fisherman's Fleet for 3 days. The first fish was caught by Michael, and was a skipjack. Michael's next fish was a hug dorado! He fought it for 35-40 minutes before handing the pole to me. Please ignore the SPF 40 all over my face, but look at Mikey's sweat-soaked hair and the smile on his face as he clutches my hand. That is Skipper Chris Jones holding the dorado. (The first attempt to gaff the fish split the top fin.) While Jorge provided the gear so we don't know where he got it, we live right between the Norwalk and Signal Hill Turner's. It just depends on which way we are going as to which one we shop at!
